I’m keeping busy with food adventures and a bunch of other stuff, right now everything is new to me. Yesterday’s dinner was three oysters, eaten at home. The oyster count is up to 15 and considering I didn’t eat oysters until last year I still call them new.

Had three oyster myself the very same day. Only counting five for the year though.
I believe I even saw photos of those oysters. Nicely done!
What kind of oysters were they? I’m a huge oyster lover.
These were Dutch oysters called “Zeeuwse platte”. Do you have a favourite kind? So far the best one is a Swedish oyster, but I could be partial.
We have completely different oysters here in Canada. You can mostly find only North American kinds here. I have tried some from Ireland though. Some of my favourites are Black Pearl, Kumamoto, Shigoku, Colville Bay, Cascumpec Bay. There are so many! I love all oysters. I should visit Europe to try some new ones!
